Honoring & Gratitudes

First and foremost we would like to begin by acknowledging the First Nations of this Land we now walk on across the country. More specifically, the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present. At Rainbow Acupuncture and Wellness Center, we honor with deepest gratitude and thanks for the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe. We pray for continued reparations for the Native people of this land and acknowledgement of their struggle as a means to their healing and empowerment.

Furthermore, we would not be here, blessed to practice and study, without the present, past and ancestral medicine carriers of this tradition that we have made our own. Without their belief and knowing that this medicine is meant to be brought to the people, and their undying determination to make sure it continues to bless the bodies of all, we would not be here loving what we do. May our hands work through your ageless wisdom, healing and love, in your honor. We are forever humbled and grateful.
